UPDATED 18 JUL 18 I'm constantly updating my demo model parachutes. See photos below. Most are less than one year old. All are for sale and all are in excellent to like new condition. They have been in very few aircraft and are a great buy and of course a great savings.

NOTICE

Ask about the liberal trade-in policy.  If you own a Para-Phernalia Softie pilot emergency parachute and it's reaching (or has reached) the end of it's twenty year service life it's worth $300.00 towards the purchase of a new Softie pilot emergency parachute. All you have to do is return your overaged Softie (to me) and I'll credit you $300.00 towards the purchase of a new Softie parachute, of your choice. This includes custom colors a carry bag and free shipping in the U.S.

Every parachute receives a thorough inspection and any necessary repairs to make it airworthy. A fair market value is placed on each parachute using the guidelines established in my article titled "Before You Buy Your Parachute" in the Articles section of my website.

To purchase an item below, or if you have a parachute you want to sell please email me or call 209-532-7070.

ITEM #1

LONG SOFTIE (BACK) - s/n 13105-S, mfr. 3/17 by Para-Phernalia. The entire assembly is red. The conventional harness has B-12 snaps on the leg straps. It comes with a 24' Preserve 1C canopy s/n 69720, mfr. 3/17 by Free Flight Ent. It is rated at 150 KIAS with up to 220 lbs. This parachute is in very good condition and shows very little wear. I estimate this parachute to have approximately 18 years service life left on it. It comes with a matching carry bag. This parachute will need a current repack. Shipping is not included. This parachute would retail new for $2570.00.

NOTE: Look at the one photograph where I'm pointing to the webbing. The distance between my fingers is a little bit longer. This owner was long in the torso so the harness was manufactured a couple of inches longer, in this area. This parachute will fit someone about 6 foot tall, or there about, perfectly. If this describes you this parachute could be what you're looking for.

This parachute will be on display at the 2018 Oshkosh. You could take it home with you at a great savings. The price has been reduced because it was a demo and in one aircraft for a couple of flights.

PRICE: $1975.00 (A savings of $595.00)

Reduced in price 27Jul18

ITEM #2 - SOLD 15JUL18

MINI SOFTIE WEDGE (BACK) - s/n 8470-S, mfr. 9/06 by Para-Phernalia. The entire assembly is royal blue. The conventional harness has B-12 snaps on the leg straps and a thread thru chest strap. It comes with a 24' Preserve 1C canopy s/n 69344, mfr. 3/16 by Free Flight Ent. It is rated at 150 KIAS with up to 220 lbs. This parachute is in good condition but shows some wear and grime on the container. The only issue I have with this parachute is the harness/container has approximately 8 years service life left on it and the parachute inside has just under 18 years service life left on it. At some point the parachute inside was replaced. If you plan on flying for about 8 more years and want a great buy this could be it. If you plan on flying longer you would have to replace the harness/container in about 8 years. Then, in about 10 years you would have to replace the parachute inside. This can be annoying. Everything is based on a 20 year service life. But, for someone just starting out or towards the end of their flying career this parachute may be your answer at a very reasonable price. It comes with a matching carry bag. This parachute will need a current repack. Shipping is not included. Remember this is a wedge and is very thin at the top of the container and about 2-3 inches at the bottom. It can ONLY be packed as a wedge with the thickest part at the bottom. For some pilots it may move you to far forward on the seat preventing full deflection of the stick.

PRICE: $725.00
