Driving Directions

 

From Highway 880:

  • Take the Winton Avenue exit (just north of the Highway 92/San Mateo Bridge exit) and go west towards the bay for 1.1 miles
  • Turn left on Clawiter Road (there is a Jack in the Box at the corner on the left) and go 0.3 miles.
  • Turn right on National Avenue (the first signal light)
  • Silver Parachute Sales & Service is down 0.3 miles on the left at 1986 National Avenue (the tan building).

From the San Mateo Bridge:

  • Take the Industrial Boulevard exit
  • At the bottom of the off ramp, turn left on Industrial Blvd and go 1.5 miles (Industrial Blvd.changes its name to Clawiter)
  • Turn left on National Avenue
  • Silver Parachute Sales & Service is down 0.3 miles on the left at 1986 National Avenue (the tan building).

Flying Directions

 

Silver Parachute Sales & Service is located half a mile south of the Hayward Executive Airport (KHWD). Always call before flying in to arrange a ride to and from the shop.

 

There is a restaurant on the south side of the airport with an aircraft parking area. The best way to get to this area is to request runway 28L/10R from the tower when you are landing. Tell them you want to go to "the restaurant" (it's the only one on the field).

 

Allen will listen for your call sign on the radio and will meet you at the parking area. If no one is there within five minutes, call the shop from your cell phone with a friendly reminder.
